The garden is in full swing. Chippy is back and begging for peanuts. The Jack-in-the-Pulpit, originally from her mother’s garden and given to her by twin Kenny, is thriving this year. Buddha says all is good.

Kenny’s Tree
On Sunday, May 5th, the children and grandchildren of Kenny Darling joined his twin, Bev, to plant an Hibiscus tree to celebrate his life.
Brianne and Dave’s Wedding
Brianne McLean and Dave Quant were married on September 1, 2012. It was a lovely ceremony on the rooftop of the Hotel Solamar in San Diego. I took a few photos of the wedding, but mostly just had a great time celebrating.
Bruce and Helen
We had a short visit with Bruce today in the hotel cafe. He did one of his ocean swims this morning. His endurance is amazing. He’s been writing a lot. We’ll get together again at Brianne’s wedding and subsequent festivities.
The Happy Couple
Dinner tonight with Brianne and Dave at the Blind Lady Ale House. After hearing wonderful things about Dave we were delighted to meet him and see that everything we heard was true.
Dad’s 90th birthday
Dad turned 90 yesterday. A special joy was having Chelsea and Cole help him celebrate.
