Nature at Work

August 12, 2015 By Helen

On a recent walk on Christian Hill Road, we came across some fascinating aspects of nature. We have many frogs out back in our pond, and in the spring the little peepers, only about an inch or so, are fun to see. But on this day we came across the tiniest frog I have ever seen, maybe half an inch long. You can see it here next to an acorn cap.

The other fascinating thing we saw on the same walk was this white spider with a bumble bee he had captured.

You never know what you will find when you open your eyes!
