Kowloon and Victoria Harbour

May 10, 2015 By Helen

We are staying in the Admiralty District of Hong Kong Island, which is just across the Victoria Harbour from Kowloon. Yesterday we took the MTR several stops over to the Mong Kok stop in Kowloon, an area full of shops and food markets. We walked from there back to Victoria Harbour and returned by ferry.

So many areas have extremely steep hills, the stairs to get up to some buildings is daunting. We’ve done some of that climbing, but in this heat and humidity, it’s more taxing than we’d like.
