Elliott Bay Book Company

September 29, 2012 By Helen

20120929-162223.jpg We decided to take a bus from our hotel in Lynnwood to downtown Seattle, about half an hour. When we got off the bus, we had a little less than a mile to our first destination, Elliott Bay Book Company. All streets from the bus stop to the bookstore were UP hill! Got our cardio workout.

The bookstore is a book lover’s dream: roomy, good shelving, good variety, great browsing. I discovered a new-to-me author: Elizabeth Speller, author of historical non-fiction, but of course the items of most interest are her WWI mysteries.

I could have spent many more hours there, but rest and restitution (and Bill) called and so over to Elysian Brewing…
