Driving North along 93

January 24, 2013 By Helen

We drove north along route 93, sort of hoping we could continue on around the point at Kaena Point State Park. But the road ends just before the park. We got out and walked around a bit – very breezy and pleasant. There was a Monk Seal on the beach. Everyone steered clear. They are an endangered species. Signs are on the beach cautioning visitors to respect the seals.
