Yesterday was a wonderful celebration of Bev’s 85th birthday. We had visitors all afternoon and into the early evening. Camilla brought beautiful flowers from her garden, Karan brought a lovely pink Azalea, Lori brought Banana Nut muffins and we all shared brownie bites and tiny cupcakes. Pat Darling and family stopped by, Jan and Vicky, too. And finally, Liz and Jojo came and checked Bev’s vitals with purple instruments! Which matched the cupcakes with purple frosting. Lots of calls and emails and texts came in, too. Bill joined us for takeout from Little Venice. And today we will have a few more visitors. A few favorites came by or called or sent flowers early (Larry & Pam, Eve and Marcia) and tonight we will FaceTime with Chelsea. All in all a happy event.
